If you missed the NHS meeting but received an invitation, please go to the guidance office for forms and the application. The deadline to apply is Friday, January 25th at 3:38 in the guidance office.     



Educators Rising will meet during seminar on Thursday (1/24) in the Student Commons area.  All members should plan to attend.



There will be a mandatory HOSA chapter meeting TODAY (1/23) at 6:30 pm in Ms. Singer's room. Students that are signed up for a competitive event and can't make it at 6:30 pm, need to come after school (3:45pm) TODAY (1/23). 



Auditions for "Radium Girls" are again today (1/23) in Mrs. Turner's room from 4-5:30 pm.  Bring your calendar with you. See Mrs. Turner if you have questions.


Congratulations, Vlad Husyev!  Vlad has been selected as the January outstanding senior student for the Sedalia Noonday Rotary Club.  Vlad will be recognized on January 28 at the Rotary luncheon.   



Fellowship of Christian Students meets every Tuesday and  Friday before school at 7:50 in the Commons Area. Anyone is welcome to join!

Fellowship of Christian Students hosts a bible study every Tuesday at 7:50am in the Commons Area, and has a weekly meeting each Friday at 7:50am in the Commons Area.  Anyone is welcome to attend! For more information see Mrs. Harvey, Mrs. Theirfelder, or Mr. Walters.




Central Missouri Electric Cooperative offers $50 cash awards to students in grades 9-12 who receive an “A” in both Math and Science.  A drawing of seven winners is held each quarter.  Entries may be submitted by high school students whose parent/guardians are members of the Cooperative.

The Central Missouri Electric Cooperative also has a Youth Tour program for juniors who are interested in watching history come alive while exploring the museums, memorials, and monuments of Washington, DC.  The all-expense paid trip requires juniors to complete the Youth Tour application and submit a 500-1,000 word essay or a 3-5 minute video on the essay topic, “The Power of Membership:  In a Cooperative, you are a member/owner, not just a customer/consumer.  Explain the difference this relationship makes.”  Applications are available in the Counseling Office (Scholarship drawer) and the deadline is March 1, 2019

The Coolidge Scholarship is a full-ride, four-year, merit scholarship that may be used by recipients for undergraduate study at any accredited college or university in the U. S. This scholarship is for junior students who plan to enroll in college in the fall of 2020 and are an American citizen or have obtained legal permanent residency.  If your junior is interested in this scholarship opportunity, he/she should visit the scholarship site at .
