In the event of a delayed start or cancellation of school, we will send out a text message, email and automated phone message with details as soon as the decision has been confirmed. We also will post on Facebook (facebook.com/SedaliaSchoolDistrict200), Twitter (@sedaliaschools) and on the district's smartphone app.
Decisions on delays and cancellations are based on the information district administrators have in front of them at the time. When the temperature or wind chill factors are below zero or when road conditions are unsafe is when the district will use the options discussed in the letter linked HERE.
