Jonathan Tester is the journalism teacher at Smith-Cotton High School; he is assisted by Bob Satnan, the communications director for Sedalia School District 200.
ROOKIE REPORTERS
Smith-Cotton journalists participate in the Rookie Reporters program, a pilot project with the Sedalia Democrat and Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute at the University of Missouri. Students' stories are published in the Democrat to enhance public knowledge of Sedalia 200 students, staff and events.
