The Smith-Cotton JROTC Tiger Battalion organizes an annual Veterans Day Parade through downtown Sedalia each year. The parade includes entries from area veterans organizations, including the VFW, 40 & 8 and others, along with local politicians, school marching bands and others who support veterans and military families. Residents line South Ohio Avenue to show their support.
