The Cadet of the Month recognizes cadets for displaying exceptional leadership and excellence within their companies and is often taken as a friendly competition within the battalion. It also provides cadets with essential skills such as confidence, interview skills, and personal responsibility. The cadet is accompanied by a sponsor from their company. If they win, they will advance to Cadet of The Year.
